Musings

The hardest thing about being an SL missionary so far is juggling everything that has to be done for coaching roles, office roles, Frontline...and still trying to find the time to maintain relationships with supporters back home in Rocky...and look for new ones in Toowoomba and elsewhere.

It's easy to blame Frontline, because it's the most boring and time consuming of the activities.

But...I shouldnt. Sigh

Found a better place to keep these. In Outlook journals!

Texted out agenda to everyone except Pete Dimond.

4pm-8:30pm MAG.
8:30-9:00pm travelled home
9:00-11:00pm edited JD, emailed people, did some MPD maintenance

And I'm totally exhausted...

Started listening to Vision Radio again!! On the Net!!!

My wife went to bed an hour ago...must join her. Goodnight cruel world.

Rejig...again

Okay so it seems I need some sort of journal to record what I'm doing each day. For a bunch of reasons.
1. Evaluation...am I actually spending time wisely
2. Frontline reviews...sigh, I'm so sick of scrambling to remember what I do each week.
3. Seeing prayer goals answered.

So yeah, once again this blog gets a remake...in purpose anyway. Wonder how long this one will last. :)

Death

Sucks!

I have a house-mate who is being battered at the moment. She's only got a casual job, is struggling to pay the mortgage, is single because of some bad choices she made in the past (or that's how she tells it), struggles with depression since her best friend died some years ago, and just got the news that another good friend has died yesterday.

She's cracked, understandably. The pressure of all this stuff is a bit too much for her, and she's at home bawling her eyes out. It's really sad that she doesn't want to see her family for Christmas because she doesn't think she can handle it, and that things just keep going wrong for her.

Anyways, death is behind most of her issues at the moment, and the way she handles it makes the house a gloomy place where frankly, I just don't want to be! It brings back too many bad memories of all the people I've lost. Kyle most recently. Sigh

Thank you Jesus for conquering death and giving us hope beyond the grave!
